Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research and Development Manager specializing in Power Electronics to lead our R&D team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience with various converter topologies and hardware design, combined with a strong knowledge of control algorithm development and power electronics components. This role requires leadership, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and excellence in our power electronics product line.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the R&D team in designing and developing power electronics products, focusing on various converter topologies and hardware design. - Oversee the development and implementation of control algorithms for power electronics applications, ensuring high performance and reliability. - Provide technical leadership in the selection and application of power electronics components, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. - Conduct detailed simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and enhance product development processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, firmware, and systems engineering, to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components. - Manage the complete product development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to prototyping, testing, and production. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in power electronics systems, providing guidance and support to the R&D team. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in power electronics technologies, control algorithms, and industry standards, applying this knowledge to drive innovation. - Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and strategic plans to senior management and stakeholders. - Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
