Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Pvt. Ltd. a pioneer in power electronics, participated and sponsored CII Gujarat 6th MSME (The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) Linkages & Buyer-Seller Meet 2017 organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Gujarat during 15th to 16th November 2017 at CII House, Gulbai Tekra Road, Ahmedabad GJ India.
We are glad to share that our Mr. Darshan Shah who is Director and CMO (Chief Manufacturing Officer) of Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics, is also the current Chairman of CII Gujarat MSME Panel. He inaugurated the session and welcomed all the dignitaries. In his introductory speech, He shared the overview of the MSMEs today and the vision for 2022. He also shared his valuable inputs on how to make MSMEs future ready, how to gain the competitive edge and on empowering MSMEs for their financial need.
Mr. Darshan Shah also added that, “The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector contributes significantly to the manufacturing output and employment of the country. It plays a catalytic role in the economic development of the nation and forms the growth engine for the expansion of the Indian economy. In India, MSMEs account for 45% manufacturing, 40% exports of goods and services industry sectors - besides creating employment, and thus contributing 38% to the GDP of the nation.”
Government representatives, captains from industry and institutions attended this conference, discussed, shared ideas and exchanged viewpoints & knowledge about critical MSME policies, sector analysis, funding options for MSMEs and review of technologies available for making MSMEs globally competitive. Buyer-seller meet was also the integral part of this 2 day conference to create a platform for the organizations to connect with potential suppliers and ended up with more than 400 one to one meetings with buyers & sellers.
